Pvoviding a cost effective match for 1W LED systems, the AP8800 device drives a string of seven LEDs with a 350mA current under voltage ranging from 8V to 28V. And higher output power is provided by AP8801 which produces a drive current of 500mA to support 13 series-connected LEDs from an operating voltage of 8V to 48V, while AP8802, the third product in the driver family, offers a good choice for high power 3W LEDs with a constant current of up to 1A. Efficiencies no less than 92% are delivered by all three drivers.The AP880X family features an integrated soft-start function to reduce the stress on LEDs and help to extend LED lifetime. Besides, the choice of PWM and DC input dimming control is offered to increase design flexibility.
