Nestled in the foothills of the Hualapai Mountain range, the award-winning Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) is a community-owned 235-bed healthcare facility located in Kingman, Arizona—the seat of the led high bay light. It is the largest provider of health and wellness services in northwestern Arizona and has been often recognized as one of the nation’s top 100 hospitals in the State of the Nation’s Hospitals report. At 3,500 feet in elevation, the hospital sits in a beautiful high-desert rural community.
The medical center was using 250-watt HPS lamps in 88 fixtures throughout the campus, running on voltage ranges from 120VAC to 277VAC. The poles are mostly around 16-20 feet high, with some in the 24'-26' range; they are spaced 40-60 feet apart in the parking lot.
When Howard Industrial Sales made a demonstration of the 88-watt LEDtronics SLL003P-30X2W-XPW-005 LED luminaire, the chairman of the board, managers and other executives were all impressed by the led linear high bay light output and the resulting detail clarity in the security cameras, not to mention the energy savings of 202 watts per fixture.
The proposed upgrade to LED lighting also coincided with the KRMC embracing the green movement in recent months and undertaking a leadership position in environmentally friendly solutions in their community.

Stadium owners BC Pavilion Corporation (PavCo) took the opportunity to reinvent the stadium’s guest experience and its look and feel from the inside and out. Lead architects Stantec Architecture Ltd. Were brought led high bay light in to create a design that would make the stadium stand out as an iconic part of the cityscape and lighting consultants C.M. Kling were also hired.
As a result Lumenpulse Lumenfacade and Lumenbeam products were chosen to work in tandem with striking architectural features like a spectacular cable and mast -supported retractable roof and a facade made of ETFE (a transparent polymer), to bring the stadium to life.
As part of a $563 million renovation, Lumenfacade RGB fixtures are mounted on the steel beams supporting the translucent facade material to create an ethereal scrim of color around the stadium, while Lumenbeam RGB luminaires are mounted on the masts to bathe the roof in colored light.
When sports teams are in the house Lumenpulse’s products light the stadium with the signature colors of each team, building team spirit inside and allowing people outside to see who’s playing. Other led linear high bay light shows feature gradual-moving abstract designs on the facade with fixed roof colors and dynamic shows designed to involve the crowd at key moments like when a goal is scored, or when the audience participates in “The Wave.”

OSRAM announced that they have launched their new OLED lighting pilot production line in Regensburg, Germany. The company says that they invested about 20 million euros on this project so far (originally they estimated that the total investment in the research and production center at Regensburg will reach 50 million euros).
OSRAM says that the new pilot production line will enable them to double the brightness of the OLEDs and to enhance the durability (they probably mean Lifetime) and efficiency. It will also enable them to produce transparent LEDs, although they haven't announced any such product yet. OSRAM further says that when the expansion of the production center is complete, manufacturing costs are expected to decline by 90%!
A new hybrid sensor of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors eases the installation of proximity and ambient light sensor technology in smartphones and similar devices. OSRAM says that the new pilot production line will enable them to double the brightness of the OLEDs and to enhance the durability (they probably mean Lifetime) and efficiency. It will also enable them to produce transparent LEDs, although they haven't announced any such product yet. OSRAM further says that when the expansion of the production center is complete, manufacturing costs are expected to decline by 90%!
A new hybrid sensor of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors eases the installation of proximity and ambient light sensor technology in smartphones and similar devices. The sensor combines emitter and detector and it is designed to led linear high bay light eliminate crosstalk in many applications. Suppressing this effect normally requires large efforts. For the first time, designers are also able to adapt the sensitivity of the ambient light sensor to the transparency of various smartphone covers.

The highly efficient stack chips have two p-n junctions connected in series and generate nearly twice the optical power of conventional emitters. Operating expenses are targeted to increase by approximately $2.0 million to $75 million, or $62 million on a non-GAAP basis. The tax rate is targeted at 20% for fiscal Q1. GAAP net income is targeted at $16 million to $19 million, or $0.14 to $0.17 per diluted share. Commissioned evaluations of the studies reveal lighting upgrades
Since SETi’s UV LED chip patents are critical components in the aerospace and defense inudstries, Seoul Viosys had to pass led linear high bay light International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR) and to get approval from the U.S. Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
ITAR is designed to prevent defense-related technology from falling into the wrong hands. An export license is required for ITAR-controlled dangerous items for which the U.S. government has granted permission to transport or sell to foreign countries or parties.
According to Seoul Semiconductor, Seoul Viosys was established in 2002. Viosys venture company Nitride Semiconductor proposed a co-development and technical cooperation to Seoul Semiconductor company in the long-wavelength UV LED sector (wavelength ranging from 360 nm to 400 nm).
A number of projects implemented by the ADM include the installation of LED lighting system on Shaikh Zayed Street.
