Due to contracts for LED fans, some institutional investors believe Sunonwealth's earnings for the second half of this year may increase considerably. Based on higher profits of the products, it estimates led high bay light to constitute over 10% of the company’s revenue throughout this year.Additionally, the firm's latest only 4 mm fans for ultra-slim lamps are also estimated to contribute to the firm's revenue growth for the year. The newest fan is only half the size of last generation.

Therefore there still exists some problems to be settled

Under this tend, the estimated shipment of MOCVD equipment in 2010 is expected to reach 662, equal to the sum total of the previous three years, and 2011 will maintain or even exceed this. The unit selling price of MOCVD equipment is about US$1-2 million. Because a maximum subsidy of 50% led high bay light from the Chinese government, an upsurge of LED investment and a boom in MOCVD purchases in China is stimulated.

At present, a large number of MOCVD equipments have been bought in and the LED project in Wuhu alone needs more than 200 sets of MOCVD equipment. A single set of MOCVD equipment possesses over 2,000 parameters, thus, it is not so easy to produce qualified products. Besides, there are numerous thresholds for LED patents, and lack of vigilance could cause trouble with infringements. Some firms, especially Nichia, are never bored with patent lawsuits. Therefore there　still exists some problems to be settled.

Compared with LCD counterparts, LED sets tend to be more expensive, however, they also offer better performance in terms of both quality and sustainability. As Mr Zutshi said, "LEDs are much better in terms of picture quality, style, display and long-term reliability.The agreement includes patents from both parties in the fields of blue LED chip technology, white LED Linear high bay light and phosphors (including remote phosphors), control systems, LED luminaires and lamps ,LED backlighting of LCDs and patents in the Philips LED Luminaire Licensing Program.
